On December 26th, 2003, our family status changed dramatically. It was on that day that the first inkling of a serious health problem arose, which was subsequently confirmed to be breast cancer.

Many medical visits and difficult treatments ensued, from surgery through chemo, and on to radiation.

Now, near five years later and all treatments completed seemingly long ago, life has returned to near "normal", but with added vigilance, special meds, and follow-up medical visits.
